One of my greatest passions is mediating miscommunications in healthcare settings.  Although our healthcare system definitely has its challenges, the truth is, doctors really to want to help sick people and patients just want the best medical care.  Sometimes in medicine, good intentions are just misunderstood.   I work to empower patients to be their own health advocates through health education and also by creating an environment for open dialogue.
