I am a medical physician with a passion for styling all things fabulously healthy!    

 

I currently live in Houston, TX where I practice family medicine as a "locum tenens" or traveling doctor.  I also serve as the Medical Director for ABC Health Connection, a local non-profit medical clinic. I love working independently because it allows me to practice traditional family medicine while also giving me the freedom to run The Health Parlor, which is my lifestyle medicine practice.  The Health Parlor encourages us to remember that being healthy starts at home. The Health Parlor is a meeting place of comfort and relaxation which promotes healing and happiness.  I want my patients to achieve these feelings whenever they work with me so I created my Lifestyle Medicine consultancy, The Health Parlor.  

 

I am a "doctorpreneur" committed to staying true to my multi-passionate heart's desires.  It is through my creativity that I find ways to affect healthy change to larger communities.   Messages through my blogs or videos are fun and bright reflections of my personality, but ultimately intended to promote self advocacy in health & wellness.  I travel often for speaking engagements, styling jobs, medical conferences, and trips for my husband's medical history research.  I am originally from New York City and cannot shake the stage bug. In my free time, you may catch me backstage styling models for a fashion show, on screen as a Beyonce video extra, or power crunching in Pilates class.
